As someone who's obsessed with lights, I couldn't wait to try these festoon lights and they've been a great addition to the garden. Most of my outdoor lighting is solar powered, which works brilliantly through spring and summer, but the darker UK autumn and winter months can really affect their performance. Having these mains powered lights means I can still enjoy a well lit garden all year round.

These lights have made the patio feel far more welcoming during evening meals and gatherings. The warm bulbs create a pleasant atmosphere without being excessively bright, while the spacing provides even illumination across the full length. Installation was simple using the hanging points above each bulb, and the lightweight plastic globes were much easier to handle than glass. They have remained secure through wind and rain, with no visible moisture inside the fittings. The spare bulbs are also useful to keep available for future replacement. Power consumption is low enough to leave them running for long evenings without concern. Connecting additional sets provides flexibility for larger areas, and dimmer compatibility allows the mood to be adjusted. They combine attractive lighting with practical year-round durability.

These are good lights and a real addition to any garden. Nice and easy to setup, the cable is fairly light, ditto the bulbs each of which are looped so you can be quite creative as to their placing. Being plastic and LED the hazard risk is minimal and they won’t hugely increase your energy bills at a miserly 0.5w per bulb. The light is warm but a bit brighter than expected, an option to turn them down and even a remote or switch on the cable would have definitely made them a five star item. As it is though, no real complaints and good value at just over thirty pounds but shop around as this is quite a crowded market.

Really happy with these lights. Only had them up a few days but all good so far. had to pay some additional postage but other than that, great service.

Great response times and excellent service

So after searching for several days for the perfect set of lights for my garden. Weighing up length bulb quantity i decided to buy from lights4u, they slightly more expensive than their competitors. When they arrived they came in a huge bundle. Which I was surprised about, but approximately 2hrs later I managed to untangle the lights. Then I discovered that there were no spare bulbs, which i was surprised at, other lights I was looking at had spare bulbs. I called the company up to express my disappointment and they quickly sent 6 spare bulbs.

The price was very reasonable considering the length and number of bulbs included. I looked at loads of festoon lights online and these were easily the best value for money. They look premium once installed and completely transformed our outdoor seating area.

Bought the 30M set for our garden and honestly they look amazing at night. The warm white glow gives such a lovely atmosphere for BBQs and family get-togethers. The bulbs feel really solid and much better quality than I expected.

We set these up in our back garden for a small birthday gathering, and they looked absolutely brilliant. The warm light gives such a cosy feel without being too bright or harsh. It was really easy to connect, and they’ve held up fine even after a rainy night.
