Cultural Icons
Mathmos Astro lava lamp is an icon of pop culture and is as relevant today as it was in the 1960s.
Stylish Packaging
Well designed gift packaging ensures your lamp arrives in perfect condition and is appreciated from the moment it is seen.
Highest Quality
Mathmos use only the highest grade aluminium and polish it to a high shine. Our bottles are hand filled in our factory making each one unique. Specs in the glass are a normal and unavoidable part of the production process and if there is a visible metal coil within the wax, this will settle as you run the lamp.
Safety Tests
You can be sure that Mathmos lava lamps have passed all the relevant safety tests. Ensure your lamp is placed in a suitable environment for optimum use, we recommend a room between 20-24 degrees and positioned away from a heat source, window or breeze.
Unique Lava Formula
Mathmos unique lava lamp formula has brighter, clearer liquids, and lasts longer than other lava lamps. Your lamp should warm up within 1-1.5 hours of being switched on.
Bespoke Halogen Bulbs
Halogen bulbs made specifically for use with Mathmos lava lamps direct light and heat into the lava and away from the base. Halogen bulbs are very delicate so should be handled with great care. Bulbs are guaranteed for one year.
